Measuring Roadway clutter in Driving Scenes

Test

The Problem

Understanding clutter in complex driving environments

Roadway environments contain a large amount of visual information competing for a driver's attention. However, what actually constitutes visual clutter in these environments is not well understood.

This project investigated how drivers perceive roadway clutter and whether computational measures of visual complexity can predict those perceptions.
